Emilie: I ran!!!

Ok so I did it!  I started my running program! I went to the gym and ran around a track for 30 minutes straight!  I was so amazed that my body let me do this….I had prepared myself for the “Your body can’t go anymore…just walk” feel, but it never happened!  Let me tell you what helped me the most.  I have always heard that when you’re breathing and running to do two breaths in your nose and then two breaths out of your mouth…WRONG!  Dawn Braud dispelled that myth for me by saying, “Just breath in and out of your mouth…get some air to those lungs!” (or something like that!)  It made all of the difference in the world.  I ran slowly and took deep breaths in and out of my mouth.  I managed to finished 2.33 miles in 30 minutes.  See?  I ran slowly!  I’m not kidding!  But I was so excited that I finished!!!
