Changing my weight in 30 days

Starting weight: 8

Current weight: 4!

I’m the kind of person who dives head first into working out for the first week or two and then it gets forgotten about. I have officially been working out for 3 weeks. Yea I started a little earlier than September, but I didn’t want to just sit around and wait for Sept 1 to come around! Anyway I’m in 3 weeks and I have actually lost 5 pounds. I have OFFICIALLY lost 4 lbs since we started sharing our efforts with you guys. I was a little nervous going to weigh myself yesterday afternoon, but I had actually lost 1 lb over the holiday weekend!
I’ve also had to make working out for an hour to 2 hours 4-5 days a week part of my routine and NOT an option. It hasn’t been easy. It’s much easier for me to talk myself out of working out instead of JUST GOING! I have to live by my motto, “If it doesn’t kill you… it only makes you stronger!” I need all the help I can get at this point!

I’d also like to say I hope Susan and her sister are doing well with their weigh-ins. Susan told me recently that her past weigh-in went extremely well!     It was great talking to all of you today. I see that you have met your half way mark! WAY TO GO!!! Make sure you buy yourself something special. My sister and I weigh again on Tuesday i’ll let you know how it goes.

    Here is a little advice I would like to share

    1.)Attitude is everything!! Have a positive attitude about your weight loss, and you will positively loose weight.
    2.)Don’t ever say you are on a “Diet”! The first three letters in this word say it all “DIE” – NO one wants to die and no one wants to diet!! So call it an attitude change.
    3.)Get Active – a little will go a long way. If you are not one to work out then just make small changes, like not parking up close to the store. Park away from the store and walk across the parking lot.
    4.)Always pick an “ I CHEAT” day… “ I Can Have Everything Anyway Today!” On this day you can eat anything, cooked anyway you like it, as much as you like.
    5.)Smile!! a smile burns more calories than a frown. A smile is contagious, if you smile at someone they will smile back.
